Camp SAY: A Summer Camp for Young People who Stutter

Camp SAY is an American Camp Association (ACA)-Accredited, 2-week, sleep-away summer camp for young people who stutter, ages 8-18. Camp SAY combines a high-quality, traditional camp experience with specialized programs and activities that help kids and teens who stutter develop confidence and independence, improve communication skills, and form important lifelong friendships.

Camp SAY 2025 was hosted at Morgan’s Camp in San Antonio, TX. Morgan’s Camp is a state-of-the-art facility on 102 tree-studded acres of rolling hills, featuring beautiful, air-conditioned indoor spaces created for most program areas, including cabins, dining hall, theater, basketball court, arts and crafts studio, and more! We were thrilled to welcome our campers to this incredible location.

At Camp SAY, campers are welcomed by friendly staff and fellow campers who stutter and immediately see that Camp SAY is a very different place where they are free to express themselves without fear or ridicule. Camp programs and activities are specially designed to meet each child’s individual goals and needs. Speech therapy is available, too. So instead of worrying about stuttering, kids can experience the simple joy of being a child.
